Description:
We will be using Shacht 15” Cricket looms for this class, provided by Three Bags Full. We will begin by warping our looms and continue to weave a placemat 12 inches wide and approximately 18 inches long. Cricket Looms may be purchased at Three Bags Full.
In this class you will learn:
· How to warp a loom
· How to wind your shuttle
· Weaving Terminology
· Parts of a loom and the accessories
· How to choose yarns for weaving
· Discussion on heddles and dents
· How to weave a header
· How to create a plain weave placemat
· Finishing your placemat

Skill Level No Skills Necessary (This project will require a long period of standing)
Description: A wet felting project that’s sure to please! Start with raw woolen fiber and using a number of props you will turn it into a beautifully felted purse.
Duration: @ 6 hours

Skill Level: Intermediate Knitting
Description: Afraid of knitting a lace project? This is a great way to start. Using approximately 1 skein of worsted weight yarn you will make this beautiful shawlette. Learn how to read a chart and handle repeats in this pattern. Then learn the technique of blocking to make your shawlette look even better!
Duration: 2 hours for 2 weeks

Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate - you must know how to cast on, knit and purl
Description: Learn the traditional Feather and Fan technique by making this beautiful drapey scarf. This technique is found in sweaters, afghans, baby clothes and afghans. It’s fun and easy with a 4-row repeat that makes for easy knitting.

Description: Knit and felt these adorable slippers. The knitting is simple, the results are awesome! This is a fun project and great as a gift. You will have time to make lots of pairs by the holidays. Sign up and we'll show you how!

Skill Level: Intermediate
Description: Learn this useful technique for knitting in the round without the use of double point needles. This technique can be used for any number of stitches in the round - you will never have to change to a smaller length circular needle or use double point needles again. In this class you will work on a child or adult sized roll brim hat.

Description: These beautiful flowers will make a statement wherever you put them. Use a single stalk to embellish an artificial bouquet or make a few and use them as a centerpiece at your next dinner party. Description: Who doesn’t love sunflowers. These beauties are fun to make and will be a showstopper no matter where you put them.

Skill Level: Patience – not much hand knitting experience required
Description: Learn to knit socks on a Circular Sock Machine. This will be an individual lesson. We will make a sock and then help you make a sock. This challenging and fun machine will leave you with a pair of socks or a big mess. That’s why we call her Cranky!
N.B. - This is a new class at Three Bags Full - will be experimenting with timing and approach to the class - Be a groundbreaker@
